A LIGHT HEARTED VIEW OF A PILOT IN EVE ONLINE
Range and how important it is.

They told me when I bought the thing that it would be “great” for fighting. When I first went out it was rubbish and I RAN AWAY when the “you’re about to die” noise happened. So I started looking at the stuff fitted and realised that actually the reason my weapons were not so great was because I needed to get really close to the enemy, so I used my Microwarpdrive and Approached quick while firing everything I could click on… bingo! site cleared.

So range is very important with some ships and set ups. If you are not close enough to your target your weapons will not be effective. Oh, make sure you take enough charges with you. I nearly cleared the site and ran out of charges and then the nearest station with any charges was 2 jumps away BORING!. Just make sure you have a lot of ammo to complete the task you have set yourself.

I like the Hecate beause it has 3 modes, one makes your sheilds stronger, one increases your “Sniper” capabilites and the other one is for running away.

Anyway I’m signing off for now because someone else is nagging me to use the computer.

Fly Safe

(Oh by the way I’m using a battleship for mining, more in next post about that).
